A nocturn I did while I was in the Cedarburg Plein Air Event. I spent two nights working on this scene. My hotel was across the street, and the first night I was without a vehicle due to a flat tire. So stranded, I did 3 paintings of the "Happy Hooker Tow Truck". I got to know the shop owners too. The back scene was embellished and out of my head, a wishful setting to go with the cool truck. This painting won an honorable mention in the nocturn( painting at night) division, which I will gladly take! I was among 165 artists, so competition was tough. I feel fortunate.
